Learn how to use the most versatile tool in the shop. With a router you can cut precision joinery, create beautiful edge profiles, and make flawless duplicates of furniture parts. But used incorrectly, routers can be at best unpleasant to use and at worst dangerous. In this three-session intensive, you'll get hands-on training using stationary and plunge routers as well as the router table while learning essential router techniques and safety. Your project for this class will be a hardwood cutting board with rounded edges, bread-board ends with tongue and groove joinery, and a template-routed juice groove.
All materials and safety equipment are provided.
