Rates
The base rate for studio time is $14/hr. If you need more than a few hours, consider purchasing a discounted package of studio hours. Packages of hours expire 30 days from the date of purchase. Unused hours do not roll over and cannot be refunded or transferred. Package pricing:

Availability
Studio time is by appointment only. You schedule your time in advance using our online booking system. The workshop has room for 6 people at a time and the lathe room is limited to 2 people at a time.
What’s included?
Workshop users:
In addition to use of the workshop tools and facilities, borrow our safety gear (eye and ear protection), marking and measuring tools, and clamps. Bring your own: Finishes (paint, stains, etc), specialized tool bits (we have a basic selection of router and drill bits, but if you need something else you'll have to bring it), dust mask/respirator.
Available for purchase: Sandpaper, glue, tape and other consumables.
Lathe users:
Included is use of lathes and chucks, face shield, bench grinder, drill press and band saw (with shop monitor approval/supervision). Bring your own: lathe tools, respirator, sandpaper and other finishing supplies.
Storage space
Store your stuff at the studio. Purchase storage by the month (subject to availability):
Half locker - 12"W x 24"D x 40"H - $40/mo
Full locker - 12"W x 24"D x 80"H - $80/mo
Double locker - 24"Wx 24"D x 80"H - $160/mo
Lumber racks and plywood storage are also available. $40/mo and up
Additional storage for larger projects can be purchased, subject to availability. Price is dependent on space requirements.
Cancellations & Refunds
You can cancel or reschedule a studio time booking up to 8 hours in advance of the reservation time using the online booking system. Cancellations will be refunded fully in the form of booking system credit so you can reschedule at your convenience.
Fees paid for cancellations within 8 hrs of the booked start time will be forfeit.
Makeville Studio reserves the right to cancel studio time reservations. You will be given 12 hrs notice in this case and receive full credit (either to your credit card or as booking system credit).
